Description: While this stillborn lamb highlights themes of sacrifice, purity, and redemption, given the history of this animal within religious context, it also is representative of the beauty within the succession of the beneficial aspects of existence. When one idea of death has come upon this lamb, it still lives in this physical realm through the practice of chemical preservation. My use of taxidermy are my attempt at pursuing an ode to the energy beyond and before me, through a slightly altered form of what was once reality.
